Later on, it was used as a castle and fortress by Popes, and today it is a popular museum of city.

The Pantheon

The Pantheon is one of the preserved ancient Rome architectural work. It was a former Roman Temple and since 7th century it has been used as a church. Church is completely dedicated to St. Mary and Martyrs and is also known as Santa Maria Rotonda.

The interior features an amazing dome that has a series of stone patterns and a central coffer that allows light to spill through.

Piazza Navona

Piazza Novona is a famous square in Rome. Built in 15 century on the site of the stadium of Domitian, the Piazza Navona remained a popular tourist attraction ever since.

This large Pizza Novana is usually full of artists and street vendors and the nearby buildings portrays the open space in a perfect look.
